AM I FIT ENOUGH TO START?
All students begin with exercises at a level to suit them. Due to the sheer level of calories burned you will soon notice a dramatic improvement in
your health and wellbeing. Please remember, your teacher was also once a beginner!
IS IT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?
The style is ideal for children, starting them at a young age (4 years old and up) it will teach them respect, control and confidence. It also gives them a good basis of regular exercise, something
that will hopefully be carried through their adult life.
SHOULD WOMEN KICKBOX?
Yes, in today's society it is increasingly important for women to know how to defend themselves, and our techniques lend themselves well to day to day situations. Our association consists of a strong
mix of men and women, with a number of our female fighters going on to become world champions in their respective category.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TRAIN?
Most of the clubs train twice a week, but the frequency of your training is up to you. If you can only train once a week that is fine, if you wish to train more often there are many classes on each
day throughout Scotland, you will be welcome in any of these clubs. Remember, you will get out of the training what exactly you put into it.
WILL I BE GRADED?
Yes. Your progress through the belts will again depend on your frequency of training but, as a rule of thumb, a minimum of 5 years is required to reach black belt.
WILL I BE FORCED TO FIGHT?
No, the fighting in our association is completely optional. Should you wish to solely learn the syllabus, self defence and weapons then that is completely up to you, however, if you choose to compete
our team of exceptional instructors will allow you to reach your full potential and hopefully join our elite number of world champions.
WHEN CAN I JOIN?
You are welcome to start at any time just check the list of clubs for your closest classes and drop in or call the instructor for details.
